Lean Six Sigma Series

What is Lean Six Sigma?

Lean Six Sigma is a globally recognized methodology for improving processes and increasing operational efficiency. By combining Lean principles with Six Sigma, this approach offers a clear and effective structure for identifying and eliminating waste, reducing variation, and optimizing process performance.

Why Lean Six Sigma?

Lean Six Sigma can be defined from multiple perspectives: a process improvement methodology, a structured approach, a philosophy, a universal metric for processes, and so on. However, the most important aspects that bring added value to today's organizations are the guiding line of DMAIC, the root cause and then solution approach, fact-based decision-making through a scientific approach (statistics and data), and the many useful tools that can also be used individually — all these forming the foundation of tomorrow's organizations.
Even though it is a long-established methodology, Lean Six Sigma continues to help organizations transform, adapt, and improve their processes. It also helps today in understanding how to digitalize, automate, optimize, or outsource processes using a structured approach and to get the best results where they are most needed.

Benefits of Lean Six Sigma training

  • Improved process performance:
  • Identifying and eliminating waste to optimize workflows.
  • Increased quality:
  • Reducing variation and defects to ensure high-quality products and services.
  • Operational efficiency:
  • Implementing sustainable solutions to reduce costs and increase productivity.
  • Digital transformation:
  • Integrating modern technologies to automate and digitalize business processes.

    Training structure

Our Lean and Six Sigma training programs are structured to provide participants with theoretical knowledge and practical skills through a combination of interactive sessions, case studies, practical exercises, and process simulations. The courses are delivered by certified trainers with extensive experience in implementing the Lean Six Sigma methodology in various industries.

    Internationally recognized certifications

Participants will have the opportunity to obtain internationally recognized certifications such as Yellow Belt, Green Belt, and Black Belt, which validate the acquired competencies and open new career opportunities.

Starting from September 2014, CODECS became an Accredited Training Organization of the International Association for Six Sigma Certification, based in Phoenix, Arizona, USA, for the Yellow, Green, and Black Belt programs. This accreditation confirms that the Lean Six Sigma training programs offered by CODECS meet IASSC standards.

Since 2021, CODECS has been organizing Lean Six Sigma courses at all levels and Business Process Management courses under the accredited format of ICBCIP (International Certification Body for Continuous Improvement Professionals). Participants in CODECS courses are eligible to obtain international certification.
