Lean Six Sigma is a globally recognized methodology for process improvement and increased operational efficiency. By combining Lean principles with Six Sigma, it provides a clear structure for eliminating waste, reducing variation, and optimizing process performance.
Lean Six Sigma can be defined in many ways: a process improvement methodology, a structured approach, a philosophy, a universal process metric, and more. The most valuable elements for modern organizations are the DMAIC “red thread”, a root-cause-to-solution approach, fact-based decision-making through statistics and data, and a toolkit that can also be used independently—forming a foundation for the organization of tomorrow.
Although it is a mature methodology, Lean Six Sigma continues to help organizations change, adapt, and improve. Today it also supports digitalization, automation, optimization, or outsourcing through a structured approach—delivering results where they matter most.
Participants can pursue internationally recognized certifications such as Yellow Belt, Green Belt, and Black Belt, validating competencies and opening new career opportunities.
Starting in September 2014, CODECS became an Accredited Training Organization of the International Association for Six Sigma Certification (IASSC) for the Yellow, Green, and Black Belt programs, confirming compliance with IASSC standards.
Since 2021, CODECS has delivered Lean Six Sigma (all levels) and Business Process Management in an accredited format through ICBCIP. Participants are eligible to obtain international certification.
