On Wednesday, October 12, CODECS organizes Leadership 2011, a conference dedicated to leadership in business. The event will take place at Crowne Plaza Bucharest. Expected are over 150 participants from companies, civil society and academic areas. Along with plenary discussions and debates, Leadership 2011 will also include 5 panels dedicated to business training, project management, leadership coaching and management education.

The special guest and key-note speaker of the event is Itay Talgam, coordinator of the Maestro Programs and speaker in the TED conference in 2009. Itay Talgam worked as a director with the world's most famous orchestras and assisted several celebrated maestros, including Leonard Bernstein and Claudio Abbado. He believes that music is an ideal metaphor for business. As with an orchestra, music has the power to create communities and strengthen values. Business leaders act like directors who lead their orchestras to the perfection of artistic acts.

His unique approach made him a valued speaker in important global conferences, including the Zeitgeist of Google, TED Global and the World Economic Forum of Davos. Itay Talgam will come in Romania on October 12 to participate in the Leadership 2011 Conference.
