HSUPA System Overview
Description
This course presents technical concepts involved in HSUPA which complemets the HSDPA. It is designed for engineers, technicians and other technical professionals requiring a technical foundation in UMTS systems and technology.
Objectives
To provide a comprehensive review of the layer 1 and layer 2 protocol functionality introducced in the UTRAN to support HSUPA
To study in depth the functionality and coding of the new transport and physical channels
To analyze how HSUPA impacts the UTRAN architecture as well as the key considerations involved in the planning of HSUPA networks
To have a look in the future of HSUPA and WCDMA.
