IP Networks
Description
This course provides the fundamentals of IP Networks. It is designed for Service provider and non-service provider customers, channel partners and resellers, employees with basic IP knowledge.
Objectives
To describe the purpose and operation of common Layer 2 technologies
Analyze an IP address with subnet mask and calculate subnet boundaries
Explain the difference between static routes and dynamic routing protocols
Explain the basic operation of the Transmission Control Protocol ( TCP )
Describe the purpose of MPLS and how it can be used to create tunnels across IP networkDescribe networks.
