Definitions and Terms
The website www.codecs.ro is operated by SC CODECS SA, headquartered in Bucharest, 37-39 Agricultori St., District 2, Unique Registration Code RO 4899270, registered with the Trade Register under number J40/25535/1993, phone 021 252 51 82, email: training@codecs.ro
Provider: the commercial company SC CODECS SA, professional training provider, headquartered in Bucharest, 37-39 Agricultori St., District 2, Unique Registration Code RO 4899270, registered with the Trade Register under number J40/25535/1993, phone 021 252 51 82, email: training@codecs.ro.
Buyer: the natural/legal person or any entity that creates an Account on the Site or registers on the site.
Client: the natural/legal person who has or obtains access to the CONTENT by any communication means provided by codecs.ro (by phone, electronic, etc.) or based on an existing user agreement between codecs.ro and the client, requiring the creation and use of an ACCOUNT.
User: any natural/legal person registered on the Site, who, by completing the Account creation process, has given their consent regarding the site-specific clauses in the Terms and Conditions section.
Site: the domain www.codecs.ro and its subdomains.
Order: an electronic document that serves as a form of communication between the Seller and the Buyer, through which the Buyer transmits to the Provider, via the site, their intention to purchase a service/course from the site.
Service: any service/course/book to be provided by the Provider to the Buyer as a result of the order.
Specifications: all specifications and/or descriptions of the services as stated in their description.

Client: the natural/legal person who has or obtains access to the CONTENT by any communication means provided by codecs.ro (by phone, electronic, etc.) or based on an existing user agreement between codecs.ro and the client, requiring the creation and use of an ACCOUNT.
User: any natural/legal person registered on the Site, who, by completing the Account creation process, has given their consent regarding the site-specific clauses in the Terms and Conditions section.
Site: the domain www.codecs.ro and its subdomains.
Order: an electronic document that serves as a form of communication between the Seller and the Buyer, through which the Buyer transmits to the Provider, via the site, their intention to purchase a service/course from the site.
Service: any service/course/book to be provided by the Provider to the Buyer as a result of the order.
Specifications: all specifications and/or descriptions of the services as stated in their description.
Delivery Policy
The Buyer can choose courses to attend using the www.codecs.ro interface.
The Buyer can access any course from the available offer, subject to availability and the eligibility criteria established for each individual course. The Buyer can register for courses whose periods and time slots are communicated on the codecs.ro website.
To make a valid registration for a course, the Buyer must provide certain personal data, which must be filled in the dedicated fields in the "Registration Form" section. If the provided data is incomplete or incorrect, CODECS SA reserves the right not to validate the registration and not to reserve the place for the course.
Following registration, CODECS SA sends the Buyer additional information about the course and the documents required for registration, as well as a proforma invoice (which also serves as confirmation of the course reservation). This will be sent to the Buyer at the e-mail address filled in by them in the online registration form section.
CODECS SA reserves the right to modify the course date, the trainer, and the location without prior notice. Trainees registered for a course will receive notifications via e-mail or phone regarding any changes. If the date is changed and the user has already paid the participation fee, they may request a refund or reschedule for a course at a later date.
The proforma invoice can be paid by:
bank transfer to the bank account no. RO20RNCB0082160232730001 opened at Banca Comerciala Romana S.A. cash payment at the CODECS SA cashier located in Bucharest, 37-39 Agricultori St., District 2. online by card only if the Buyer requests it and only following the generation of a payment link for the issued proforma invoice.
If the Buyer cancels the course less than 3 working days before the start (or after the start of the course), the Provider will retain 50% of the total course value as damages.
Failure to fully pay the proforma invoice by these deadlines will result in the cancellation of participation in the course.
The courses are conducted, depending on what is specified in the respective registration announcement:
online, through video conferencing applications communicated by CODECS SA for each type of course (e.g., Zoom, GoToMeeting, Google Classroom). To attend an online course, the user declares on their own responsibility that they have access to the internet and the electronic means necessary to attend the theoretical training "online", being responsible for having the electronic means (PC, webcam, microphone) and connection (stable Internet connection). in the classroom, at the Provider's location situated in Bucharest, 37-39 Agricultori St., District 2.
For both methods, the Buyer will gain access to the services/courses on the dates and according to the schedule established upon registration.

Cancellation Policy
If the Buyer pays the participation fee (in full or partially) and subsequently, for any reason, no longer wishes or is unable to participate, they may request and receive a refund of the amounts paid under the following conditions:
full refund, if the cancellation is communicated in writing to CODECS SA at least 15 days before the course start date. 50% refund of the total course value, in the case of full payments, if the cancellation is communicated in writing to CODECS SA at least 3 working days before the course start date.
CODECS SA will refund the amounts mentioned above within 14 days to the bank account indicated by the Buyer only after they have consented to provide the data for the transfer by completing a return form, which will be communicated by the Provider to the Buyer.
In the case of online payments via a payment link, the Provider is not/cannot be held responsible for any other additional costs incurred by the Buyer, including but not limited to currency conversion fees applied by the Buyer's card-issuing bank, if the currency of its issue differs from RON. The responsibility for this action lies solely with the Buyer.
By completing the Order, the Buyer consents that all data provided by them, necessary for the purchasing process, are correct, complete, and true at the date of placing the Order.
By completing the Order, the Buyer consents that the Provider may contact them, by any means available/agreed upon by the Provider, in any situation where it is necessary to contact the Buyer.
The Provider may cancel the Order placed by the Buyer, following a prior notification addressed to the Buyer, without any subsequent obligation of either party to the other or without any party being able to claim damages from the other in the following cases:
non-acceptance by the issuing bank of the Buyer's card, of the transaction, in the case of online payment; invalidation of the transaction by the card processor approved by CODECS SA, in the case of online payment; the data provided by the Client/Buyer on the Site is incomplete and/or incorrect;
The Buyer will always have the right to delegate another person to participate in the course, respecting the eligibility criteria, without paying any additional fee and with the sole condition of notifying CODECS SA in writing at least 24 hours before the course start date.
All rates related to the services presented on the Site are expressed in EURO and do not include VAT. The proforma invoice will be generated in Lei (RON) at the BNR (National Bank of Romania) exchange rate on the day of issue.
