Description:

This training prepares participants to apply Lean concepts and philosophy to any business process, in any industry, function, or team, with the goal of improving the process and achieving measurable benefits.


20% theoretical, 80% practical;

Duration: 2 days


The course includes a simulation of an end-to-end business process.
Participants will simulate the process, correctly identify and document it, and collect data. The collected data will be analyzed to understand the causes of the current process performance. Based on understanding and quantifying these causes, they will generate solutions. Using the selected solutions, they will redesign the process and measure the performance of the new process.
The benefits of the implemented solutions will be calculated by the end of the project.

What will you do during this training?

  • Introduction to Lean
  • End-to-End process documentation: including the three process streams (with BPM principles)
  • Calculating Lean performance indicators for the process
  • Understanding the process and identifying non-value-added activities, types of waste, and quantifying them; process balancing analysis
  • Idea generation based on identified root causes
  • Process redesign and testing

All participants are eligible to take the certification exam for ICBCIP - International Certification Body for Continuous Improvement Professionals. Additionally, all participants can opt to continue their training toward CAFFPA certification as a Process Improvement Manager.
